Back when we started we were the only Indian restaurant in Station Road along with the Lee Hong Chinese restaurant and one other takeaway, no other food outlets as there are now. The 80’s and 90’s was a busy time the town was busy, we would remain open till 2am. But since the recession Port Talbot has been slow to recover with small retailers closing in the town, as you’ve probably noticed the amount of charity and betting shops not a good sign for a town. As a result we have been affected too, touch wood we are still here and for many years to come we hope.
To start our parents started the business in 1986 and since our mother passed away 5 years ago and more recently a year ago our father, myself and my two brothers now continue to run the business.
